This website is designed to explain a liitle about myself and my practice. Law is my avocation as well as my vocation. I love learning about it and sharing what I have learned. I email out a weekly news letter called The Weekly Reder which summarizes the Florida Appellate Court opinions on a wide range of civil areas of law. I also plan on emailing out a Reder's Digest to laypersons. I not only welcome, but encourage ideas and suggestions on how I can make this service more interesting and beneficial to my subscribers.

The main focus of my practice is now in foreclosure defense. I spend hours a day keeping up with developments throughout the state. The Florida Supreme Court has recently amended the Rules of Civil Procedure which now require that foreclosure complaints be verified. It has also recently ordered the chief judges of the judicial circuits to implement a mandatory mediation program.

It has become apparent that the foreclosure process has been abused by lending institutions and that many of the foreclosure judgments are subject to being challenged and vacated. This issue was raised by Michael Belle in Sarasota in a case filed with the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. He and I will be appealing an adverse decision and presenting that issue to Second District Court of Appeal.
