The Carrollwood Community Bar Association (CCBA) was founded in 2000.  Its voting members consist of attorneys who practice law or live in the Carrollwood Area, which compromises northwest Hillsborough County.  It also has nonlawyer associate members.

The CCBA holds luncheons for all members and their guests at the second Thursday of every month at Emerald Green's Golf and Country Club.  It also holds a Round Table Discussion for attorney members only at 4:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every month.

The CCBA annually recognizes the achievement of one of its members each year by bestowing upon him or her the Brian Weakland Award, named after one of its founding members and first president.
